In this demonstration, learners sort items into either a grocery cart or trash can based on their nutritional value. Bacon, bread and cereal are categorized as “healthy” and should be placed in the grocery cart, while the donut and hamburger are “not healthy” and should be placed in the trash can.
 

This approach can be used to:

• Have learners sort facts into different categories

• Assess if learners are able to drag and drop steps into the correct order

• Practice a skill by placing an object into a certain position
